Where we get stuff...

Well, we are getting more prepared for our preview services and launch. One of the most helpful resources we have as church planters is to hear what vendors other plants are using. We still have a lot of stuff to buy, but here is a preliminary list. If you are thinking about coming to Journey, this will also give you an idea of what the environments will look like.

1. Computers - you guessed it. From these guys.

2. Presentation software - ProPresenter - This is one of the reasons we went with Apple. There isn't a pc version.

3. Play panels for the children's areas - Early Childhood Manufacturer's Direct

4. Kids' furniture from IKEA becuase it is cheap and high quality. A lot of their stuff looks like it came from Disney, kids will love it.

5. Sound System - we went all out for the Versarray. We needed big sound to cover our big band. It rocks and just looks cool. Our biggest cash outlay by far. Board is from Peavey also.

6. Printing - VistaPrint is the best deal and quality we have found.

7. Web Design - Scott, our Connections Pastor is doing it all through Microsoft FrontPage. We can't afford a marketing group to do it and he does a great job.
